Working Principle

Brown rice is divided equally by distributor when feed to machine, and then enters the top of whitening chamber, and is conveyed by screw propeller from top to bottom to the clearance between emery roll and screen. Here, brown rice moves downwards spirally along the emery roll surface, and the bran is separated by fractioned action between the surface of emery roll rotating at a certain linear speed and the rice blade. In addition, the rice grains can be milled and whitened by frictional action between the screen plate and rice grains as well as rice grains.

Negative pressure generated by the bran suction fan forces the air around the bottom of the main shaft to enter the hollow shaft and then pass through the materials from inside to outside, thus the materials are cooled and the temperature of rice is reduced. In addition, the bran is forced to discharge from the screen apertures rapidly and sucked out by the bran suction fan.
