(1) Pert EVOH oxygen barrier pipe is mainly used as floor heating pipe in heating system. Plastic pipe is easy to leak oxygen, which is the common feature of plastic pipe. Ordinary PERT floor heating pipe (Pb floor heating pipe PE-X series floor heating pipe) has certain oxygen permeability, which is called "oxygen breathing" in theory. 

If the PERT pipe without  oxygen barrier is used in the heating system, there will be oxygen in the heating system. At the same time, with the increase of temperature, the oxygen permeability will become more and more serious, which will breed microorganisms in the pipe. Because the life of microorganisms is very weak, more and more microorganisms will form biological slime, which will reduce the indoor heat load and affect the service life;

(2) Pert oxygen barrier pipe solves this problem. PERT oxygen barrier pipe is widely used in Europe and the United States in the 1990s, and it has been set in its standard that it must have an oxygen blocking layer. Currently, PERT oxygen barrier pipe adopts all specialized EVOH oxygen barrier material (Nippol Chemicals, Kurary), and the product has double functions of shading and oxygen barrier, which can effectively inhibit microorganisms in the system and prevent oxygen from penetrating into the pipeline system, so as to prevent water supply the metal part inside the heating system is corroded and rusted, which greatly extends the service life of the metal parts in the whole heating system. The pipe has excellent flexibility, easy bending and construction, and is widely used in heating pipeline system;

(3) Ordinary oxygen molecules entering the heating system through the plastic pipe wall will cause the following hazards:
A.Corrosion of metal components in the system.
B.React with free calcium, magnesium and sodium ions in water to produce scale.
C.Aerobic has the possibility of organic matter and microorganism, which is easy to produce algae. Algae attached to the pipe wall will thicken the pipe diameter, reduce the water flow, prolong the heating time, increase the gas cost and reduce the comfort.
